If you’ve followed Kraken Offroad for any amount of time, you already know how we operate: we don’t rush products just to hit a date on a calendar. We’d rather take extra time, test harder, refine details, and ship something we’re proud to put our name on.
Right now, we’re testing a new product line that’s designed around the same idea that built this brand: functional upgrades that solve real problems—cleanly, securely, and with a finish that holds up in harsh environments.
What We’re Testing
Without giving away too much, here’s what we can share:
- Multiple mounting and accessory configurations
- Hardware and fitment refinements based on real install conditions
- Durability testing for vibration, washboard roads, and trail impacts
- Finish testing for wear, abrasion, and long-term use
The goal is a product line that installs clean, feels solid, and holds up the way it should—whether your vehicle spends most of its time on pavement or deep in the backcountry.
Why Testing Matters
A part can look good on a workbench and still fail in the real world. That’s why we test in conditions that mimic actual use: heat, cold, vibration, repetitive stress, and the kind of “trail reality” that exposes weak points fast.
This stage is where we catch the small stuff:
- hardware access
- clearance quirks
- rattle prevention
- install sequence improvements
- “this could be better” design tweaks
When Is It Coming?
Soon—but only when it’s right.
We’ll share more as we lock in final details, and we’ll post updates here as we move from testing to production.
