At Kraken Offroad, we build rugged, trail-ready gear for Jeep owners who actually use their rigs. We also believe returns shouldn’t feel like a hostage negotiation. If something isn’t right for your build, we’ll make it right—fast.
This Return Policy applies to purchases made through Kraken Offroad’s website.
30-Day, No Questions Asked Returns
If you’re not happy, we’re not happy—period.
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a 100% refund:
- No restocking fees
- No interrogation
- No hoops
If the part isn’t right for your Jeep, doesn’t match your build direction, or you simply changed your mind, you can send it back.
Return Eligibility (What Qualifies)
To keep returns simple and fair for everyone, returned items must be:
- Within 30 days of delivery
- Uninstalled and unused
- In original condition with all included parts (hardware, instructions, etc.)
- Returned in original packaging (or equally protective packaging)
If you opened the package to inspect the product, that’s totally fine. We just can’t accept items that were installed, run, drilled, cut, modified, or damaged.
What Can’t Be Returned
The following items are not eligible for return (unless required by law or unless we approve an exception in writing):
- Installed or used products (including test-fitting that leaves marks, scratches, or thread engagement)
- Products that have been modified in any way (drilled, cut, welded, ground, painted, powder coated, etc.)
- Items returned without all included hardware/components
- Final sale / clearance items (when clearly marked as final sale)
- Custom / made-to-order items (when clearly marked)
If you’re unsure, contact us first—we’ll tell you straight.
Return Shipping (Who Pays?)
- If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind or it didn’t match your build direction, you are responsible for return shipping.
- If we made a mistake (wrong item shipped) or the product arrived damaged/defective, we’ll take care of it and make it right.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method and packaging items securely. If a return is damaged in transit due to poor packaging, it may affect the refund.
Damaged, Missing, or Wrong Items
Because we use multiple U.S.-based fulfillment warehouses (3PL partners), shipping issues can happen occasionally. If your order arrives damaged, missing items, or incorrect:
- Contact us within 5 days of delivery
- Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the box, label, packing material, and product
- A quick description of what’s wrong
This lets us resolve the issue quickly and file any needed carrier/warehouse claims.
Refunds (How and When You Get Your Money Back)
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method.
Typical timing:
- Return inspection: usually within 3–7 business days after delivery to our returns location
- Refund posting time: depends on your bank/card issuer (often 2–10 business days)
Original shipping costs (if any) are typically non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified defective/damaged item.
Exchanges
We’re happy to help you get the right part.
In most cases, exchanges are handled as:
- Return the original item, then
- Place a new order for the correct item
This keeps inventory accurate and gets you moving faster—especially when items ship from different warehouses.
If you want an exchange, tell us what you’re trying to accomplish (Jeep model, year, trim, current mods), and we’ll point you to the right part.
How to Start a Return
Starting a return is simple:
- Email our support team with:
- Order number
- Item(s) you want to return
- Quick reason (optional — truly “no questions asked,” but helpful for improving products)
- We’ll send:
- Return instructions
- Where to ship it
- Any special notes (if applicable)
Do not send items back without contacting us first, because return addresses may vary based on warehouse/fulfillment location.
Return Condition Notes (Keeping It Fair)
We keep this policy generous—so we just ask that items come back in resellable condition.
Refunds may be reduced or denied if:
- The product shows signs of installation, use, damage, or modification
- Parts/hardware are missing
- The return arrives damaged due to poor packaging
If something unusual happened, just tell us. We’re humans and we’ll work with you.
Warranty vs. Returns
Returns are for “it’s not what I needed” within the 30-day window.
If your issue is a defect in materials or workmanship, that’s a warranty claim, and we’ll handle it accordingly—often by shipping replacement parts quickly to minimize downtime.
